The Practice, the first ever healthspan training studio, seeks a Head of Training and Operations to lead program implementation and development, and oversee day-to-day operations. About The Practice:
The Practice champions a science-backed approach to training for healthspan, tailoring each program to individual starting points and long-term goals. Our proprietary Healthspan Evaluation provides a comprehensive fitness and lifestyle snapshot, allowing for ongoing benchmarking to track progress and results. We integrate “Habits for Healthspan” into every step, empowering clients with knowledge, training, and plans to maximize fitness and wellbeing.
Operational Leadership:
Embody and uphold customer service standards for exceptional client interactions.
Analyze business trends and devise strategies to meet financial goals across all key metrics.
Implement SOPs, manage administrative tasks, and conduct staff evaluations.
Oversee all employees, including recruitment, hiring, and handling necessary situations.
Manage sales plans and initiatives, while creating strategies for improvement.
Collaborate with founder to manage The Practice operating expenses.
Optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the studio, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally.
Talent Development and Support:
Conduct monthly development meetings to mentor staff for growth.
Manage departments to meet brand standards and foster a dynamic workforce.
Provide timely feedback for staff improvement and client experience enhancement.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for Healthspan Specialists.
Facilitate client management workshops to promote team development.
Business Development and Community Partnerships:
Work directly with founder/CEO to support strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with founder and marketing to develop effective client acquisition strategies.
Represent our brand at industry events and community forums.
Training and Innovation:
Collaborate to enhance The Practice’s programming and protocols based on client feedback and health research.
Stay updated on exercise methods and technologies to ensure innovative, effective programs.
Actively train clients to set the tone and engage in continued advancements in our programming.

Qualifications:
Preferred degree in Exercise Science, Physical Therapy, or Kinesiology.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the fitness industry.
In-depth knowledge of various fitness training methodologies.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
